The story
Babadağ is a limestone mountain in Fethiye district. Its highest summit reaches 1,969 m, yet it stands less than 5 km from the sea, and its slopes carry cedar forests and a maple found only in this region.
Because the summits rise so steeply above the coast, Babadağ has become a well-known paragliding launch. Pilots take off from the mountain and glide down over the turquoise lagoon and beach of Ölüdeniz.
