The story
Keloğlan, "the bald boy", lives with his mother in a poor village and sets out into the world with nothing but cleverness. He tricks giants, outwits padishahs and usually ends up with the princess.
He is the everyman hero of Anatolian fairy tales, retold in books, cartoons and films for every generation of Turkish children.
