The story
Pamuk writes about İstanbul, memory and the meeting of East and West. My Name Is Red, Snow and The Museum of Innocence are among his best known novels, translated into more than sixty languages.
In 2012 he opened a real Museum of Innocence in İstanbul, filled with the objects from the novel of the same name. He was the first Turkish writer to receive the Nobel Prize.
